Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered into an embedded search tool is processed by the provider that operates that tool. Alcorn County Court Docket does not maintain a public case-search database or create a personal dossier from an entry.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends an email, the message and reply information may be retained to handle the communication. Information is not disclosed outside the operating organization except when a valid legal obligation requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most web services, hosting and analytics systems may receive basic technical information used to operate and secure a visit.
- Internet protocol address and approximate device connection data
- Browser, operating-system, and device characteristics
- Pages requested, referring source, and visit timing
- Diagnostic information used to identify loading or security problems
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies or similar technologies may help measure aggregate use and keep the service functioning. Browser controls can limit cookies, although some features may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and communication data may be used to operate the resource, respond to a message, understand aggregate use, prevent misuse, and address errors. It is not used to create or sell court-record profiles.
No Court-Record Data on File
Alcorn County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell official court dockets or personal case files. It links to public custody routes. Court records are governed by the Mississippi Supreme Court public-records policy, court rules, confidentiality laws, and orders; the Mississippi Public Records Act provides a separate framework for covered public bodies. A court or clerk is the correct source for an official record.
Third-Party Search Partners
An outside search provider has its own privacy, retention, and sharing practices. Review that provider’s policy before entering any information. The provider controls its own service, and its results do not replace a record confirmed by the court custodian.
Links to Other Websites
Links to Mississippi courts, county clerks, municipal offices, and other resources leave this service. The operator of the linked destination controls that visit and its privacy practices. Review a destination’s terms before providing personal or sensitive information.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information can be processed by service providers that host, measure, secure, or operate the resource, by a partner selected through a visitor’s own query, or by authorities when lawfully required.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information handled by the resource. No internet transmission or storage system can guarantee complete security, so visitors should avoid putting sensitive identifiers into ordinary email or a tool that does not require them.
Users Under 18
The resource is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied personal information may request review through the contact route.
Your Data Rights
A visitor may ask about personal information provided directly to this private resource, request a correction, or request deletion where retention is not required. Court-record access questions are different: Mississippi Code §§25-61-5 and 25-61-11, court rules, the Mississippi Supreme Court public-records policy, and any confidentiality order control access through the appropriate custodian.
Updates to This Policy
The policy may be revised when operational or legal practices change. The current version will be posted here when revised.
